My suggestion is to have a very experienced high efficiency furnace plumber install the unit. From what I now know all aspects of the system need to be in balance to work properly. My unit is exceptional and my wife likes the colored pictures designating the various modes of operation.

I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. The unit tends to leak through pinholes which are due to impurity of copper tube material from cheap production country. The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. AC unit of 8 years died during heat spell and contractors where quoting very high prices to replace. Having some mechanical ability I decided to purchase and install a new unit myself. eComfort guided me through the whole system and the new unit was shipped to Calif. in just a few days. Had new unit installed in two days and had a licensed AC Tech do my start-up. I saved almost $6000 dollars. New project will be a whole house fan system which they also sell.
